I'm sorry about the voting, I had no idea this was going on. I worked hard on this car and wanted a fair vote. I've have never posted on this sight but read it all the time and have got a lot of information about my car on it. You do a fine job with this site. Good luck to all the remaining contestants. There are some really nice cars here. Again I am sorry. I hope you don't mind if I continue to read the post.

Mike, thank you for the apology. It's unfortunate because you had a great photo, but in order to keep our voting process untainted we had no other choice. You're more than welcome to continue reading the post here.......I'd urge you to post more often and become an active member on MiFbody. You have a nice looking Firebird, and I'm sure many of us would like to hear more about it.

Thanks again for stepping forward, it takes a big person to do that. And I hope you can appreciate the level of integrity we run this site with, it's truly unlike any other site out there.

I see that you are from Holland MI., My daughter lived in Holland for several years. Her husband was a engineer for Uniform Color Co. I have visited there often.

He still works for Uniform Color, but now lives in Waxhaw NC. I think he was up in Holland over the weekend. He was also in the Navy for nine years then went into the reserves. He will be going to Kuwait in Feb. for 14 months. They moved to NC almost 2 years ago.
          A little bit about me.
My first car was a 68 camaro back in 73, I then owned a 68 Rally Sport in 78, I also had a 67 camaro in 1994. I bought the 94 firebird about 3 years ago. It was a dark green when I bought it.
I also came across a 85 corvette a few months ago that I am getting ready to restore. But my favorite car will always be the Camaro. I would give just about anything to have those cars back

My daughter lived on Red Stem Dr. Between James St. and W. Lakewood Blv

Ahhh, the original family that started Uniform Color sold in (I think) 1999. It's still one of the better companies to work for in town.

A '78 Rally Sport!!! I have a soft spot for that vintage Rally Sport, many of my friends in high school had Rally Sports. Would've given anything back then to own my buddies black and silver RS.

Post some more pics of the Firebird when you get a chance, would love to see before and after pics.........Sensing your love for the F-body I think you'll fit in fine around here.

Red Stem Dr., that's a fairly new subdivision......my adoptive mother has a place at the south end of 160th Ave just before you run into Lake Macatawa.

It was a 68 rally sport that I had in 78. It was yellow with a black top. It was loaded with all the extras.

I honestly couldn't have said it better than Scott. We're a very close knit community here and I too encourage you to continue reading and try posting more often. Thank you for stepping forward and apologizing, though - that is truly appreciated.
