The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I lived in Charlotte NC for a year and my 96 Camaro saw snow for the first time, I don't think she liked it... poor baby had ice on her windshield - imagine that!! Lol Sharp Firebird by the way!!!
Wow I need to start buying up here and turning them down there...
So true. Probably because the cars just don't rust down here they get a good price, the paint may fade from the sun but that's about it. The only thing, it's kind of hard to find a nice Camaro or Firebird here that hasn't been beaten and abused, unless it's been owned by an older person. Folks up north seem to have more pride in their cars, I'm from Ohio originally and my dad always taught us to treat our cars right.
I'm gonna keep reducing my 97' RS to below book value until she's sold, I really love Missy's 94Z so hopefully it will work out I want to sell mine SOON so I can buy her Z!! The 2nd owner of my 97 was an 80 year old gentleman who drove it to the store and back, guess that's why she only has 59K miles.
I guess I got lucky but I bought my car with a few bolt-ons for $5900 at 97k miles with a freshly rebuilt trans. Only problem was some clearcoat peeling off (fixed for now, kinda) and an electrical issue I wasn't aware of until I got home (once again, got lucky and figured it out in only a day). I'm amazed that the paint hasn't faded in color at all after 12 yrs.
