  • Trying it blind

My name is Scott G. 1981 pontiac firebird/TA bought car for my son and I to fix up but during this time I became legally blind but I think we are doing pretty good so far we have replaced the battery and the starter tried doing the trans pan but from what I could feel the flange of pan wouldnt slide by where exhaust hooks up to headers well anyways after we replaced starter son got in car turned the key and it fired right up would have given anything to see his face right then can you imagine the smile on his face hell i was smiling just hearing and feeling that big block rumble It should be a lil easier now recently got back in touch with my brother 01 badbird which is great by itself but he said he would help us out making car run and look good so I hope you dont mind all the questions we will be asking as we go along Oh and Rick if your reading this Zach said he will trade cars with you lol

Welcome to the site! I hope I don't sound rude by asking, but what kind of device do you use that allows you to post/type while being legally blind? I'm intrigued, not trying to be rude/mean.

well from what I've understood is blind in one eye and losing sight in other and no longer can drive or work which where the "legally" comes in.And matter of time before totally blind. Also will have to be going away to work on stuff like that from what my wife heard.works on key pads by feel (quicker then my one finger typing)but he can fill in anything I missed (or messed)

Ah alright - was just intrigued because I know I haven't set up anything for visually impaired so I didn't know how it adapted to any specialized devices he might be using.
