Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I worked at a performance shop back in Albuquerque (we did A LOT of LSXs......GTO's, F-bodies, hell, I even did a 402 with a maggie into a Hummer H3T...lol). And I just moved to Rochester Hills less than a week ago. All my friends back in Albuquerque all had LS based vehicles, and I would always (well....always mod them) work on them. Plus, the F-body/LS1 guys back there are more open minded than a lot of the import guys back there.....maybe it's because a lot of the import guys back there are stupid ricers.
Anyhow, I figured moving back in with Mommy and Daddy (yeah I know.....loser) would let me go back to school.
Plus, my boss was a big LSX guy to top it all off.

Welcome to the site, Jason! Hopefully you'll be upgrading and buying a decent, American made vehicle instead of that silly Jap crap. (Welcome to Michigan by the way)
PS - Just gotta give you a hard time - and trust me, you'll get it driving a Honda in Michigan.

Good plan dude. Honestly, and I'm not exagurating in the slightest, the sooner the better. I know quite a few people who have had very bad incidents on the road driving foreign cars in Michigan - especially in the Detroit area. My coworker drives a Honda (after she was laid off from Ford, GM, and Chrysler she decided to buy foreign) and while we were out to lunch by the GM Tech Center her car got keyed all over by [assuming] a disgruntled GM or Chrysler worker. I also know a few people who have told me they get the bird constantly while driving their car and get cut off, etc. Atleast it's a Honda and not a Toyota, though...
I wouldn't worry about it. There are a wide variety of vehicles out there. Owning a "Big Three" vehicle is preferred though. It's a personal choice, most of us here have GM at the top of the list obviously.
