    Hi all,

I was talking with esoteric18 at a cruise Sunday night and he told me I should get on here because you guys had some sweet rides and are super cool.

My car is mostly stock (slow) but I love her and I have big plans.

Thanks for the HUGE warm welcome guys!!

Yeah I love the color of the car, but when I was driving down to Colorado Springs to look at it I was saying the whole time.. I don't want a purple car, I don't want a purple car. Then I got there and saw it in person (pics don't do the color justice) I FELL in love with it.

I've only ever seen one other car that color in person (2 or 3 in pics) and it was at the Trans Am Nationals in Dayton Ohio. It was a 94, automatic, hard top car. It's funny everyone says that it's rare because of the color, but according to the production numbers that's not even close to the rare part to the car (t-tops.. aprox 300, 6 speed... aprox 300 and leather... aprox 800, are all WAY more rare). I figured it out statisticly a few years ago and just factoring in those 3 (not even the color) it's a 1 of 15 car.

Not bad for a car I had no idea was rare when I bought it and didn't want a purple car, some people give me grief for driving a car painted a girl color but I love it!

-- sorry I'm so long winded, she's one of my favorite subjects.

Nice ride, I also like the color. I have always said that I could drive a purple F-Body but not sure if I could drive any other car that was purple, maybe a vette. Welcome to the site BTW!

It is indeed gray purple metallic, I didn't know that was "infamous" though...

Yeah it depends on the light, it's a really cool color, unique for sure!

Just referring to the fact that it is unusual and rare...

                              And I'm pretty sure it's a one-year only color...
