Hey Everbody,
I've been on a few other forums a bit. A couple are great, but I was looking for some specifically local stuff too. Actually, it was on one of those that ReadySetGo mentioned this forum so I thought I'd stop in and register so as not to miss any of the local fbody haps. Considering where 696 and 75 meet, I'm a few blocks both south and west. Yep, my house is only about a mile from Woodward.
I bought my Black 99 SS M6 (T-Tops) new, and it recently came out from underneath the extended warranty. Therefore, it is time to mod. So far, I've only done the basic intake mods (CAI, Lid, Smooth air bellows, K&N). Next is exhaust, and perhaps a suspension improvement before I go after an ATI Procharger setup (obviously with the necessary fuel pump, injectors, tune, etc) in the next year or so. So far, my most fun has come in the form of "spirited" drives when and where it seemed appropriate (sometimes just because, and other times with company). I don't have any dyno sheets, nor have I been to the track yet. All in due time.
Anyway, I'm glad to belong a forum dedicated to local enthusiasts. See ya around.
Rob
