Rather disappointing really. I have a small miss at around 4500. Without looking at the paperwork I think it put down 246hp and only 265 in torque. I'm not very happy at the performance. Car only had 80k on it at the time. Still havent figured out the miss but I cant feel it on the road I can only hear it popping out the exhaust on the dyno.

Your car looks a lot like mine. Just minor differences, like mine's lower, yours says "Formula" and mine says "Formula V8", I have tinted tails and corners, just little things. I have the same rims currently, but not for too long. If you are willing to drive out here, we'll make sure you feel welcome. Ben and I live in a small town, and my house is right on the main drag, so we usually barbecue and watch traffic for a little while, then go cruising right about when the sun starts to set. It's a short loop, but we still have fun. Would be fun to have 3 f-bodies out cruising together though, I don't think it's ever been more than Ben and I going cruising out here. Heck, if you would do the same for us, I know we could work something out on a Friday or Saturday night out in Hillsdale.

Once again, welcome to the site, and keep up the good work on that Formula! Looks great so far!

As for the miss, when's the last time you did a tune-up? Could just be a bad plug wire or something, or a bad sensor. Any mods done to the car? 246 is definitely pretty low, you should be making more than that. Do you have a garage? I'd be more than willing to help you get it running right before the Meet and Greet.

              93formulalt1,

I will set something up with you sometime. I've been in Adrian about 4 times the last month or so at Johnsons gun shop. I hang around Hudson occasionally. I just bought an MSD Blaster coil, 8.5mm MSD wires and NGK TR55's for my tune up. Still gathering things up as the cash allows. I noticed the other day my throttle body looks like its leaking where the it mates to the intake. I dunno the car has starting giving me a few problems recently. I know its running pig rich as well but dont know why and dont have anyone around here that will scan it for me. I dont wanna waste my money at a dealer to be told its 02 sensors. As far as mods go, K&N CAI, Granatelli MAF, Borla Cat back and someone has played around in the computer. Rev limit is a 6200 but I do not know what else inside the pcm has been changed. Drop me an email or something. You have yahoo messenger?

Yeah, I have Yahoo, but I never use it. lol

I have a scanner at home, when I get back to the states, you can stop by and we'll hook it up. Should at least give us a good idea of what's wrong. Do you have a SES light on?

About once or twice a month my ses light will pop up for around a minute then turn back off. That has been happening since I bought it 2 years ago. I don't drive the car much so I havent really messed with anything on it. However I am thinking this will be my only summer ride this year so I have to fix all this stuff up. Last summer my MPG dropped from around 25 highway to around 20. So there is a problem I just dont have any idea where to look. All my previous hot rods have been older carbed stuff. Not too knowledgeable in the computer controlled car world. Any help your offering me would be greatly appreciated. When ya getting back to Adrian?

My flight from Tokyo lands at Detroit Metro early Saturday afternoon. I will be back in Adrian a couple of hours later, but I'll likely be too jet-lagged to do much of anything this weekend. I'm free all week though. My scanner can read current and previous codes, as long as you have or had a SES light on, I'll be able to tell you what triggered it, and clear the code out of the system after we fix the problem. Are you able to drive out to Adrian at all next week? I'll be getting some work done on the truck so I have something to drive when I start installing the headers on the 'bird next week, so I could take a break and hook the computer up to your car if you are willing to come out. Not to mention, I'll take all the help I can get installing these parts, I've got a decent sized stack of boxes at the house waiting for install now.

Shoot me a PM if you want to come out, I'll let you know when I'm free, as well as exchange some contact info so we can reach each other once I'm back home.
