Hello all
My name is Eric Malek
I am 20 and I am part of the lapeer group with shawnc16 and the sporkinator.
I am a student at Northwood University in Midland, I am majoring in Automotive Aftermarket management. I live in Midland during the school season weekdays, on the weekends I comute to lovely lapeer. During the summer months I live in lapeer.
I frequent Lapeer Dragway and Mid Michagan Motorplex (200 times better facility).
My daily driver during the summer months is an 82 Pontiac Trans am,
I bought It last summer and it basically remained stock all of last year, however last winter I pulled the POS LG4(smoked and leaked badly) and the non-overdrive 4-speed manual. I installed an 86 305 from shawnc16's IROC and a used borg warner t-5. For now it has heddman hedders, a custom y-pipe(made by yours truely) and a flowmaster cat back. I am still running the stock q-jet and GM intake(port matched). Oh yeah I forgot I replaced the crappy stock auburn posi(it broke) with an EATON, I also installed a richmond ring and pinion.
My race car is an 84 Buick Regal with way too many mods to list. It sports a 355 ci SBC(the first engine I built) and a th350. It has an 8-point cage, polly bushings in the front, 1 in ST lowering springs and front and rear sway bars(I though I wanted it to handle well, then I bought the TA), it has so much crap on it I cant remember most of it. I took me 2 years to build and hopefully I will be racing it this weekend at lapeer dragway.
