Not sure, Darren, but under "Vehicle" Ryan says he has a V6. Best guess is that he wants a direct replacement for what he has, but he may also really love what that LS1 could do for him! I know I'd really enjoy those two extra cylinders!

Ryan, are you sure it's a rod knock? Is this a 3800?

no prob. Lets get you a 3.8 engine and build it up before putting it in though. You can use a shortblock from a grand prix, buick, or fbody car and just swap your acc. and such over. I am a v6 guy myself with a 97 camaro RS. Built up slightly, ha

Turbo V6? Just a suggestion, and youll find one man, dont worry, they are a wicked popular engine.

best to drop the engine from the bottom of the car. As for swapping the parts, no biggy once engine is out you just need some wrenches and time.
