I'm originally from the Detroit area but moved to Kalamazoo for Western. I've lived here for nearly three years now and have met a lot of cool people. I finally talked to a guy that I used to call "The dude with the silver TA". He told me about this website to learn about events and such.
I've had my 97 Trans Am since 2004 and it's been my DD, yes, even in the winter. Just this year the car was miss firing badly and generally running like garbage. I ended up replacing the fuel pump and plugs which only made it miss at idle. I knew the wires were the next step but I took one look at them and said ef that. I decided I would spend my spring break working on my car. I installed Pacesetter Ceramic LTs, Pacesetter ORY attached to my SLP LM1. I replaced my Mech WP and Opti with the GM Performance application. Along with that I did the wires and also installed a brand new magnetic starter. The car is running better than when I got it originally. Soon I'm planning to give the car to Aggressive Performance for a Dyno Tune.
Just this winter my girlfriend and I also bought her a 2001 Grand Prix GTP. It's super clean and very nice but I'm not planning on modding it.
Anyway, I hope to see some of you this summer, the weather has been amazing.
