hey everybody, my name's Peter. I'm a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student at MSU, but I'm originally from Fairwater, WI (population: 350). This summer I will be living somewhere in/around Warren, as I will be working as a co-op at GM's tech center. I'll be in the Interiors and Safety Systems department doing instrument panel quality, reliability, and durability.

Anyway, I've been told by nascarnate that my car is probably known better by the people on this site than it's known by me lol. I bought if off him in December for $1300. It's in WI now, but I plan on having it here this summer once I've done some work to it.

So here's the plan: first, fix up the interior. I have a bunch of parts from a '95 3.4 that I totaled the end of my senior year in high school that I'm going to use. This includes the headliner (the one in there now is shot) and the leather seats/door panels.

I'm also planning on driving this mostly as it is until the engine and/or tranny goes out (the thing has 211k miles), then swap in the engine and tranny from my '95 (111k miles). Meanwhile, I'm going to swap 3500 heads and intake on the '95 engine. Here's a list of mods I plan on doing:

    Immediate:
    3500 heads and upper/lower intake
    cam
    CAI
    headers
    suspension

    Later:
    rear drum/disc conversion
    C6 Z06 replica wheels

I'm looking forward to being part of the community

oh yeah, i forgot to mention, I'm also on camaforums.com, msuracing.com, and fullthrottlev6.com. I go by WIspartan1026 on the first two sites.

Also, is there anybody on here who's done the 3500 top end swap?

Welcome to the site ... I was thinking of doing that to my girlfriend's Alero. Check out "60degreev6.com", they'll have every thing you'd need (parts, forums, etc.)
