Small world I guess. Do you ever go up to the Culver's cruise night? Hell even if you don't frequent it it is worth going just to get the 15% off your meals. That is 15% all year round. I happen to love their food so the 15% is a bonus.

It's a pretty cool classic car show. The only thing that sucks is they have a giant black tarp on the dirt for the overflow of cars. The tarp holds water under it and becomes similar to a waterbed when you are driving on it. The burgers, fries and drink are so cheap on cruise night.

I decided I was going to make a day of it. I drove the Grand National to work in Rochester. Parked it in a nice shaded area so the car wouldn't be 5000 degree's. I get in the car at the end of the day and drive it over to Culver's for the show. I hop out and walk up to the registration area. I come back and look at the car and it is covered with this white sap crap. This totally sucked. It must have happened at work (nice shaded area). So now I have the black car that is spotted with white sap marks. I am trying to get it off there and this stuff was on there really good. So now I have the normal people checking out the "Monte Carlo" or sometimes referred to as "Grand Am" admiring the white sap marks. At least I got a good burger, some fries and a drink.

BAMF TA, will you be running carb or fuel injection on that 454? What other items you got going in there? What heads, cam, beefed up read end? You get that monster done right and you just might need a parachute bag on the back.

Cam is a 244/256 ~.700 lift and a 110LSA

That will be one hell of a daily driver. 30,000+ miles per year? How much driving do you intend on doing?

Build the 9" I have one under the rearend of the GN and that thing is a tank. I had a 8.5" GM with Auburn Pro series carrier in the Camaro and twisted the axle tubes up. The pig was jammed straight up in the floor board. They weld on two spots to keep them things together. I had u joint bearings all over by the tree at Lapeer Dragway. If you are going to build a 8.5" rearend get the axle tubes welded all the way around. The biggest pain I have with my 9" is that I have Moser Axle shafts in it with Ford drums drilled for a 4.75 GM bolt pattern. It is not as though you can just go up to Auto Zone and tell them you need a Ford drum with a GM bolt pattern. Anyone have any idea's where to get these from?
