Thanks for the welcome from all of you.
You found it, a W-body. It's got some F-body parts in it though, the front brake rotors, calipers, brackets and pads. My GTP is my baby and rarely gets driven much anymore. It's never been taken down a track since I've owned it, but it should be a solid 13's car all day long pump gas and street tires. The previous owner ran a 14.07 in it, but I've done a lot more engine stuff and added the SLP headers to it since then. That 14.07 was also before the new performance trans and gear swap to 3.29's (stock gears are 2.93's). It's also now got a decent tune in it which helps a lot as I'm sure you all already know. It's fast enough for me out of a V6 and plenty to catch a lot of cars off guard. It's to the point where to go any considerable amount faster, it would take a considerable amount more money and work so I think I'm done with it performance wise.Originally posted by importkiller_ss View PostWelcome... if you dont own a f-body, what do you own/drive?

Sorry i didnt look hard enough... you drive a 2002 grand prix
Im lame
I daily drive an '86.5 Nissan D21 hardbody pickup I got for free about a month ago after my '98 Escort wagon dropped a valve seat out of cylinder #4 and pretty much grenaded itself. The Nissan had a blown head gasket, but I tore it all apart, replaced ALL the gaskets since it has 300k+ miles on it. Put over 3000 more miles on it now with no problems so far.

I used to be president of our local classic car club and used to own a couple Corvettes, a '76 and a '93. Owned those separately, I got hit by a drunk driver in the '76 and it got totaled so we bought the '93. Liked the '93, but wanted something older and sold it. Then we got a fully restored '73 Mustang Convertible Mach 1 clone that we showed for a few years. We then sold the Mustang to put a down payment on our house. After that, I got into the GTP scene. Now I'm an admin at our KC area Pontiac forums at www.kcpmc.net

No more fender stripes and before the addition of the Special Edition hood, but here it is on the Power Tour behind Randy with Gib Jr. behind me in his GTO.

My wife has a 2000 GTP that is a little more mildly modded since she daily drives hers. Here they are together.

WHEW! Sorry for the novel.
