People on here seem awesome. Thanks for the comment about my other threads. I go to University of Northwestern Ohio for auto/high performance and Alternative fuels. its an associates degree for now.
what do you do for work... since you said you hired a new tech

Im from Burton, go to school in flint and work in GrandBlanc and Fenton. Im all over the area. I work at Niles Industrial in the industrial park off of owen, on Alloy, right across the street from century tool. Car is usually out front.

Should do lunch one of these days when you get that thing running and on the road.

I've had Niles do some Fireproofing for us at the refinery. Looking to do some more soon. What do you do for them?

Im the Network Admin. Sit at a desk, fix peoples problems. Know basically nothing about fireproofing or painting, Im picking up little tidbits here and there though, every trip down to the shop usually results in me coming back with more knowledge.

Who did you work with last time?

I worked with Dave Gore who I believe no longer works there. The last guy I talked to was Nick.

Dave was a fireproof guru from out of state, and for reasons unknown to us just one day decided it wasnt for him there and gave us his 2 weeks. Nice guy, one of the only people that wasnt always breaking shit and whining about his computer, he will be missed, lol.

Not sure who you talked to but theres no Nick out of this office, maybe out of the Chesterton one, not 100 percent sure theres one their either. If you need some more work done I can have someone get a hold of you whenever.

Dave was a good dude. Sorry to hear him move on.....Who should I contact for fireproofing? With all the work we are doing at the refinery to handle the tar sands (coker project), we needs a tons of fireproofing and I do believe that Niles is one of two contractors able to work inside the gates for us. PM me if you want to. (sorry about the highjack!)

I work on diesels but I am in Niles down near the IN line and jobs SUCK here..

top pay in my shop is 16 an hour.. the new guy is the first to have a degree, I am OtJT but they treat you like shit where I work, I am hoping to get out of there this coming year.. sorry end of rant..
