  • New B from Sterling Hts.

    Hi there everyone,

My name is Rick I have a 1995 Firebird Firehawk # 361.With these options M6, T-tops, ramair, Y-pipe, and exhast 2 on the left. The color of the car is deep purple metalic 1-41 that color. I bought the car last Aug. It has 92,000 miles and it is still pretty much stock. Over last winter I droped the rear axle, the transmission, and the exhaust.I then started sanding what little bit of rust there was on the floor broads I then repainted the underside with por-15 a rust preventative paint. I also repainted the axle while it was out.I then replaced the clutch & flywheel(stock replacement parts), replaced the bushings in the rear of the car(Energy Suspension), and the shocks with a set of koni's. That ended my winter work project. I still have to replace the bushings in the front, and the front shocks. I have the parts just need the time.

I went to the meet and greet at Stoney Creek and meet a few of you guys Brian, Angie , Dennis, Vince and a few others but can't remember everyones names(sorry). I had alot of fun and can't wait for the next get together.

    Rick

Hey Rick! I saw you were registered on the site when I got home last night, glad to see ya made it on here! That is one beautiful Firehawk. My buddy Dave, he had the stock red LS1 droptop Trans Am, he was so pissed because he accidentally deleted the picture of your car off his camera's memory stick, I didn't even get a chance to snap a picture of it so he was freaking out hoping you'd post a pic because he knew how rare it was. Anyway, rambling now... welcome to the site, and that's one sweet 'Hawk! Thanks for coming out yesterday, too!
