im 99% sure ive seen your car in person on lake michigan drive. if so VERY nice!Originally posted by turbocreeperHey,
My name is Mike and Im from the Grand Rapids area. I recently purchased a 1998 Formula w/ 90k on the odometer. It has been lowered, it has SLP wheels wrapped in 275-40-17 BFG tires and a loudmouth exhaust. It has a ram air hood and 160 degree thermostat. It is an automatic (damnit), but it will still boogey. I recently left the DSM scene and had a couple nice AWD turbo talons. I was tired of working on them and not enjoying them so hopefully Ill get some satisfaction with the LS1. Looking forward to meeting many others and learning about these vehicles. So if any others plan on going to some meets or races, count me in.

If you REALLY want to wake up that automatic (I have one too) you NEED to get a nice 3200-3600 RPM stall torque converter. You will be amazed at the difference it makes on these cars and your tires will absolutely hate
you as you as you will no longer have any traction.
Best mod for the A4 cars hands down, then headers 2nd.
Since you have a '98 like me I would be able to easily adjust the tune in your car with EFI Live. Changing the shift parameters for the automatic trannys really makes the car much more fun to drive in town.

I think Im going to need one of you f-body gurus to help me adjust my drivers side headlight. i did the gear flip because it was stripped and it just didnt seem to go as easily as it was supposed to. now the headlight doesnt go up and its sitting a little lopsided. let me know if any of you westsiders have a minute to help a new guy.sigpic
