  • New Member wanting to get into an Fbody

Hey guys, I went to the Bakers M&G and cannot deny it any longer. I was the one cruising from Walker in the WRX and had purchased said car thinking it was a 'smart but fun' choice. Well turns out it isn't as fun as I'd hoped so I need a real car. I have always been a fan, long before my buddy even got his, then he bought it and made me jealous even more so. So the time has come, I am gonna get my car sold and find my way into an LS1. Thanks for the invite to the meet Casey and guys, thanks for letting me cruise up with you.

This is 100% correct. Back in high school these were our cars:

He had the firebird, I had the mustang. Once we moved on from our V6's, I was always planning on grabbing a 99+ Mustang GT and he was going to go the LS1 route. He had moved to Lansing long before I got my T/A, so he had no clue I was even looking for one (I had pretty much tried to keep this a secret from everyone). When I finally sent him the pics of my new car the subject line of his email was something like "I HATE YOU".

Thanks, just would have hated to ruin a line of perfectly beautiful cars with some foreign monstrosity.

Yeah thanks for the drive, it was good times and yes, you guys did push me back over the top.

Also I did notice the 98 LS1 T/A for sale and was talking to him about it a bit at the show, turns out he lives sort of near me, but my price range is definitely under the 10k range so I gotta keep it there. All that also depends on selling my WRX so if you know any people that might want something like that let me know. Thanks again.
