    O wow, absolutely gorgeous car. How much further do you have to go until its done? Looks pretty close to me.

                      Thanks again for the kind words. The car is about 85-90% complete. What's left is all the wiring and plumbing, interior stuff, some minor exterior stuff and then finishing the hookup and tuning of the new drivetrain. All told I am about $5 Grand away from finishing but finding that money has been hard in this economy. I hope I can make Woodward...but I don't know. The engine is a '99 LS1 with Stage II LS6 heads, 224/114 cam, LS6 intake, ported throttle body, Stainless Works headers. I should flirt with around 500 at the flywheel which is more than enough for a street car. By the way, I started taking this car apart in 1993.....I haven't driven it since. Yep 16 years. I honestly don't remember what it was like to drive it, it has been that long. Pathetic. Here are a couple more pics. Now I gotta peruse the site and check out everyone elses rides.
