  • Another Newbie in a 71 Camaro from Dexter

Hi, I bought my first 70 Camaro when I was in High School in 1975! I drove it year around for 7 years. It was a Michigan car with Michigan rust. I loved that car. I had to sell it in 1982. I bought a 1971 Camaro in 1985 and after 23 years of hard work it finally made it to the road. This is my first full year with the car on the road. I did a total frame off restoration of the car. I did ALL the work myself including the engine and transmission and all the body work and paint! My wife and kids enjoy cruising around in it with me. I am going to take to a few car shows this year.
I never thought of it as a show car, I just like being around all the other gear heads and their cars. What is the fun of having a car like this if you can't drive it!

Great looking car, I am very bias toward the '71 Camaro, and your's deserves a big pat on the back.
