  • Hello

This is my third time trying this. I'll get my story typed and then try to proceed and its taken me too long to type it and it tells me invalid post.

So here it is, short and sweet. My name is John Terry. I hale from Lapeer MI. and my F-Body in a 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA that has enough parts from my 87 GTA that it could almost be call an 87 itself. Currently I am driving a 1990 Chevy conversion van that has almost 300,000 miles on it. It serves me well and is great for hauling engines to the dyno, namely Justin's aka 1bad83ta.

I will have the 88 done by the meet and greet come hell or high water. All thats left is to install the hedders, exhaust and rebuild then install the WC T-5 that is going behind L98 350.
I've already put floor pans in it that i harvested from the 87 among many other thing.

I look forward to meeting and cruising with all of you soon.

Ol Time Rock N Roller On Board

You young guys just kill me. All that work left to do in a week and you think nothing of it .

It's great to see the "hobby" of back yard mechanics is still going strong, my hats off to your generation, keep up the good work and we "will" see you at the meet and greet, Dennis

Dennis you know you would be doing it to if you could. But with your back I don't blame you for not doing it.

We wouldn't "enjoy" the hobby so much if we couldn't thrash till the last possible second LOL. I'll still be working on the '73 all day tomorrow to have it together for Mendon.

If I had Dennis' money I'd pay someone else to do it to. I don't believe that bad back stuff for a second LOL J/K

This is what what we all look like just as we throw our back out am I right?
