Hello,
I was looking around in Thirdgen, org and came across this site.
I have a 1983 Camaro Z/28 HO L69 one of 3223 built. It has power windows and locks, the delux seats that say Camaro/Camaro/Camaro, 5 speed and t-tops. It is dark brown, not my first choice, but it is what it is.
I have owned the car since 1988 and it has not seen a winter since I have owned it. Could use a paint job someday....
Mostly stock with the addition of a Competition Cams camshaft, flowmaster exhaust and an aluminum driveshaft from a 4th gen car. The driveshaft cured a vibration issue I have had with the car since I have owned it.
My tag line is "willing to race any 1983 Corvette and beat it". This is a pretty safe bet as there were no 83 Corvettes sold. There is one development car in the Bowling Green Museum, but it is not likely to be on the street any time soon.
I am an Engineer for GM and working on the new Camaro. Anything I say here is my opinion and not GM's.
Looking forward to the meet and greet at Kensington.
