  • All GM guy here..!!

Hi Folks - just checkin in , I'm Dwight K. from Milford and am the owner of a 1st Gen 68 SS. It was a Michigan car that I saved from a field near Lake Orion with only 17000 actual on the meter. I spent a couple years restoring it and have been drivin it like I stole it since then..!!! Hope to find some of you guys on the road or in carshows this summer.

    Have a great day..!!!! DK

Welcome Dwight. I live in Milford also, but don't remember seeing your car last year. You ever go to Bakers car shows on Sundays in the summer? You should try and make it to the Meet & Greet on May 30th in Kensington.

HI Robert.!! I have made it to Bakers many times, but this last year I was there mostly in my other Classic Chevrolet. My Camaro didnt get the normal drive time cause I just got my 57 Belair on the road and was trying to get a few pre-winter miles on it. I will be at the Meet and Greet if possible this year..!! Here is a couple pics of my Belair for grins....its almost a Camaro, the LS1 came from a 99 Z.....does that count..?? LOL

        Later DK

Some days you feel white and some days you feel black?

Who did the work on the 57? looks like a clean install of the interior and engine.

Thanx for the nice comments guys.!!
Brian, I did all the work myself. Ya see I have ALOT more time than I have money, so I usually figure a way to do every possible thing. The 57 took me 4 yrs to complete......my wife was ready to kick me to the curb by the time it was done...lol. I even painted them both in my 2 car garage, I'm one of those "Jack*** of all trades but master of none" kinda guys. I'm going to try to make the M&G if at all possible. Really busy now........I'm going over my 57 this winter/spring to make sure its ready for a trip to Reno, Nevada this summer.!! (Hot August Nights car show)

Come on warm weather.....this cold stuff sucks..!! DK
