    No yamaha hasnt detuned them. It has been the same basic engine since 99 but they have improved the porting and other small things so they have better mid range.

    Honda has no incentive to update their two strokes, they sell more CRF450r's than all of the other companies sell 450's combined. Look on craigslist lol, its all crf450's. And up until about 2006 they eat valves like crazy. My buddies 450 had to have all new valves and seats last year, cost him a grand when all said and done, and he didnt even replace the piston.

        Seeing as to how you like two strokes, let me know if any of you guys would be interested in a Honda 250R quad. Some guy wants to trade it to me for my Formula, but I don't want it. If someone wanted it for cash I could get it for them, just wanna make sure they want it, I don't want to be stuck with a quad. Oh yeah and by the way welcome to the site, new myself
