  • WARNING!! Another New WMCC Member! :-)

Hi everyone, my name is Greg and as you have guessed from the title I am a proud member of the WMCC and all around F-body nut.

I live on the West side in the Holland/Zeeland area and like to talk about cars as you can imagine. So feel free to stop by and say "Hi" if you ever spot me at a car show this summer.

I guess you could say my family is a bunch of gearheads as we always buy the Sport, SS, GT, T-Type, GTP, Performance Edition or whatever model had the best go and handling of the particular car model over the years. My daily driver is an '03 Silverado SS with an Outlaw CAI, Corsa exhaust, and EFI Live custom tuning and my father Daily is an '05 Silverado SS with the same CAI, MagnaFlow exhaust, and custom tuning. So yes we are certifiable gearhead-oholics.

My family has owned a few Camaros over the years including a '69 SS, '68 tubbed and caged Pro Street SS, '84 (my first Car) '86 IROC, '88 IROC, '91 Z28 and then the 4th gens we now own.

Currently I own a Black '98 SS Camaro and my father has an '02 Phase II x HOTROD magazine Camaro to make a little noise with out on the road. (poor neighbors) But I guess the Camaro and the WMCC craze is rubbing off as last summer my wife picked up an 8,000 mile '01 NBM SS Camaro to add to the local noise pollution problem. The cool part is that when she spotted the car she liked it very much, but she loved the car when she found out it had an ASP Pulley, FIPK Kit, Corsa Exhaust, QTP headers, Off-road Y-Pipe, and a few other goodies. Gotta love her as the first thing she said was "Do you think it is loud?"

My '98 is a combination of show and go with an edge toward performance handling. I worked on the suspension first, looks second, and now working on the go. I have had a completely unpractical "68 Pro Street Camaro in the past that wasn't much of a driver so I'm not looking to build a drag strip warrior but rather a nice street machine. It's no trailer queen either as I do not own a trailer and it has been driven on 2 HOTROD Power Tours which took me to the great state of Texas and back both times. So it does get DIRTY and has it's share of road scars, but the memories are Priceless!

Enough Chit Chat.......... here are a few pics of my '98 SS and Dad's '02 HOTROD. More pics on the signature link below.

    Greg

Welcome to the site Greg! I have to admit, since I saw your car on CarDomain a little over a year ago (who HASN'T seen your blue calipers, c'mon? lol) and then when I saw it in person at Superfest last year I was totally stunned with how great that car looks inside and out. Very cool to have you on the site.

Welcome Greg! Everyone seems to love your wheels, how about you tell them all the story on your wheels. Because nobody else will ever have a set like yours.
