Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Great work man! I am very impressed as well. Yanking the engines out the bottom of these cars works out very well, i'm glad to see you took advantage and painted the engine bay while you were at it! Very nice build up!

what kind of cam you got? hell what are the specs of the engine in general?
I'm not sure I'd have to look at the the box, But its a Tad bit bigger then the LT4 Hotcam, its a compcam
Ported the heads, 1.6 Stainless steel roller rockers, thicker studs, Adjustable push rod clips, Comp cam push rods, Ported intake manifold, aftermarket throttle body, Stock crank and pistons, cam (not sure right now), Tuned Computer, SFI flywheel, Detroit speed starter, Built 4L60e trans, Corvette servo, B&M trans Cooler, 3500 Stall converter, Polyurethane Trans mount, aluminum Drive shaft, BBK shorty Headers, No cats, BORLA exhaust and Straight pipe, thats about all i can remember right now If theres something i forgot I'll put it in the list.
Here's why I actually painted the engine bay, It looked Horrible.
BEFORE AND AFTER!!!

And yea i agre with you... i want to do the same exact thing to my engine bay. Problem is finding time to do it when im always away at school.
yep thats her, I wanted bigger but ran short of cash so i went big valve springs and ported the heads when i find the cam i want And when i get one i can just slap it in.
yeah the engine bay looks better then my whole car, Everyone tells me its Beautiful then sigh when they see the car and wonder why i bothered, Why because i hate seeing POS camaros getting scrapped they still have life they need to be brought back to life with extra power =]
It took me 2-3 weeks total to pull off all the wiring, Sand, Primer, and paint, took 1 day to paint though and 2 weeks for it to dry to be safe, then 1 week to Sand blast the subframe and small engine bay parts and paint them, I know a guy in michigan that will sand blast all your parts in the engine bay for under 100 dollars.
