Have always loved the camaros and firebirds, but never owned one. Ended up with an 81 z28. guy owed me money and thats all he had to offer. I had just finished building a jeep and figured I would make this my next project. After getting it tore down found several problems A-piller drivers side was rusted out under dash and decided to ditch it. I had done quite a bite of research on comaros trying to figure out my plan for the 81. during that time I really fell in love with the fourth gen f-bodys. In particular the 1999 hugger orange SS and z/28. As time and money came together this past winter my wife found a SS in detriot. So on 3-5-08 I owned my first camaro (never registered the 81). In order for me to get the camaro I had to agree not to modify it for at least a year. So I'm starting to plan for this cumming spring. I feel the fastest way to get this done is to use the knowledge of others. I thank you in advanced.

I have been a member of ls1 forum for a while but never really fit in there. Members are just to spead out. Feelling that I wasn't making friends there and hurrican ike raining out the weekend I started searching for other forums/clubs to join. I didn't find anything specific to the Lansing - Jackson or mid Michigan. This forum seems to be the common ground for several clubs. So I looking forward to joining in on some of the f-body fun.

    Thank again,

My wife gave up some things she wanted so we could get this. Since she still wants them, Can't spend any more money on things that are not needed.

I don't have many pics. my avatar is the best. I should get a picture of the engine bay. Looks pretty nice with the hugger orange valve covers and coil relocation kit. It's going to beautiful this cumming weekend I'll try to get some quality pics.

I would like to go to waterford on the 27. sounds like a good time. If someone from the lansing area wants to. I'd like to follow along. I've never been their before.

Hey Trent, it's really last notice, but next weekend is a huge car show for Camaros and Firebirds at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Since you're relatively close to the main route to get there (I-69), I thought I'd throw it out there. A large handful of the people from the Grand Rapids and from the Metro-Detroit area are planning on being there, so you'd be able to meet a lot of us at the show.

You can do it either way -- you can attach or you can use to post the images that are already uploaded.
