  • i dissapeared..came back with a 12.60

hey guys!! i havent been on in quite a while, my sprint mobile broadband card took a poo so internet access has been VERY limited...but i'm back!! i was forced to get rid of my camaro i got laid off AGAIN and unemployment is being GHEY!!! they guy i sold it to got it back together, painted, and then spun a rod bearing a week later

BUT, my dailer driver (gtp, if the name didnt give it away) went 12.60 @ 108.71 last weekend!! made some people mad too, because i have no intercooler, and a bunch of used parts LOL....basically, a used cam ($120) and used headers ($250) and a dyno tune...and a 3550 race weight!! i hope to join the Fbody community once again next spring

ill see you guys at M13!!! ill be the white and blue grand prix with slicks on the front LOL

i have more than a tune LOL...NIC cam (220/230@.050, .507) idle sounds about like the cc503 i had in my camaro, 1 5/8 primary headers, 75mm throttle body, 1" smaller than stock SC pulley, 3.29 gears (stock is 2.93) 2500 stall, and slicks.....AND i only get 21 MPG, i used to get 32 on the Eway LOL the cam has very agressive ramp rates and overlap to help with detonation, it's designed so the boost helps push the exhaust gasses out i guess...whatev, it works apparently LOL my cam came out of the record holding non intercooled GTP, he ran 11.40's with it then parted it and sold the cam i guess...i'm shooting for 11.90's next spring with a gen V supercharger and some ZZP heads...i guess i'm lucky, i live 3 blocks from zzp and they know me on a 1st name basis

welcome back to the site! 12.6 on a GTP is very respectable.
