Hey guys I am new to the site here, but far from a new Camaro lover. First off I am original from Florida where I picked up my 93' Z28. Years later I’m now up here and the ride looks better than ever. I am in the last year of my engineering degree @ LTU in Southfield and have been working for Martin Motorsports for over 3 years now. We specialize in high end drag race chassis and efi engine programs. I am proud to say I have built some of the fastest 10.5 Camaro's in the country. You can see many of our cars at the first of the month heads up race at Milan. So yes, I am the worst kind of gear head, it’s in everything I do.
My ride is a 93" Z28. I removed the engine the hard way (out the bottom) and rebuilt it. Used Eagle rotating assembly, Diamond forged pistons, Comp cam and valve train all run with a custom double roller up front. I personally ported and polished the heads and intake, also had our engine builder give them a nice 6 angle valve job. Then toped it off with a 58mm TB and 50 lb/hr injectors. I used my connection to tune the car out at the GM performance dyno at the proving grounds. The drive train has a Hays clutch with standard B&M shifter. Got 373 gears out back and stuffed 315 Nitto NT01. Suspension is stock with some KYB shocks for now. I am saving up for the KW coil over conversion.
