i was thinkin of getting the FAST 90/90 setup with like a 100 or 125 wet shot...but i figured once i did that and a tune and everything im at about $2G's....so i figure that's about half way to a turbo...so mine as well wait it out

A turbo set up would be nice. But that gets expensive with forged internals and the price of the kit.

yea well i'de just get a kit and go with 7 or 8 psi on the stock motor and hopefully that would last long enough for a new motor...but it's all a pipe dream now... i had about $3grand saved up...but i just dropped $700 on tires today...so really anything is way outta reach for me right now...especially while we're slow at work and im only makin like $250 a week now...come spring when we get busy with boats...i'll be rake'n in the dough again!

yea if i got a turbo...i am leaning towards the GMR Speed single turbo kit if anything.... it comes with everything except the fuel upgrade stuff...but realistically i probably won't have enough $$ saved till next year...and that's if i don't have to buy a winter beater this next winter

Hey don't worry Matt its a competition of the poor boys lol to see which of us can save up for a kit first. I'm sure I'll end up getting one though and my damn motor, trans, and rear will fall apart at once lol.

yea... well i have already got my trans built..so that and my clutch are good for more power...but i know my 10 bolt will go again no problem with more power....so my rear end is the only thing constantly running on borrowed time again!

Only if you side step your clutch with a good set of DR's or slicks. There have been a few A4 guys running into the 10's on the stocker rear. For the most part they will hold out on the street, it's the sudden shock they receive at the strip that kills them.
