        damn im at work for a day and come back to 249 new post's!!! welcome! my name is matt!...i too have a red SS...but it's a hardtop and a 98....but whatever, details...details.....welcome and have fun at the site....we're the "regulars" for the most part! welcome home too!

            Thanks Matt... Our cars are almost identical twins. The only visual difference is I have the cast 10 spokes where you have the polished.

              yea mine are chrome...and the chrome is all peeling..they are going to hell...but i just got Black Z06 motorsports rims and ordered new tires today...very good choice in car though!

                  haha yeah....i found my car on autotrader...i was lookin for an LS1 SS or WS6.... i ended up coming across my car out of all the ones i found around me...mine had the lowest miles....was the lowest asking price...and already had the cam in it!!! and a few bolt-ons!!...so i was like "no brainer"

                        Talk about twins. I have a 224/224 cam as well, but I'm running PRC stg 2.5 5.3L heads. What are you pushing to the ground hp wise?

                          390 at the wheels...and i forget about the torque #.... i think like 370something for Tq..i'll have to go grab my binder outta my car that has all my reciepts and stuff...but yeah just shy of 390 ... i lost HP when i put my heads on but i picked up some major low end power from 'em

                            I was at 407 rwhp and 403 rwtq with my set up. My heads flow pretty good, but I think the added comp helps a little too. It bumped it to about 10.8:1.

                              yea i lost some compression with my heads...thus loss of some HP...but it's all good

                              cause now im game for a lil forced induction!! lol
