    Whats up all the names cleven and im new to the boards. Well this is my first camaro, but im no stranger to sbc whats so every, who can call his self a real car guy and not know about theme Well the car i have is a 1983 Chevy camaro, right now it has a 355sbc in it but my buddy is yanking that out but the 350 trans with the b&m shift kit is staying in. Stock rear end stock everything elese for the time being. But right now im looking for a cheap ( i mean real cheap) some what of chevy motor to put in it to get me to and from work tell july when i have the $$$ for a 400 or 327 SBC. So if anyone know of anything within 50 miles of Benton Harbor in the couple hundred mark let me know, i dont care it can even be a 305 as long as its a chevy v8

      Looks like a good project. Not too many early 3rd gens here. Thanks for posting pics, so we got that out of the way

        Welcome to the site, Cleven! Sounds like a sweet project you have on your hands! I also noticed I have those same exact ramps in your pics, haha. In any case, feel free to visit as much as you'd like, and post freely. We're a REALLY social place that loves to post a lot. It's pretty usual for there to be 400+ new posts each day.

          Thanks for the welcomes and what not, i searched like all day on the net befor i found this site. Well worth it from what i can see. Im hoping to find me self a cheap temp motor from one of the guys\gals on the site

                        Just yesterday a 400 sbc rebuilder popped up on craiglist for $100...don't think it's within 50 miles...but $100 is $100...
