  • Hello all...

Thought I'd start with the suggested "introduction". I'm the third owner of this F-body and I know the first two owners. It started life as an LU5, cross-fire 305. After my best friend put 139,000 on it, and hit four deer with it, and smoked the motor and trans... he shoved it in a corner of his garage and threw a roll of carpet on the roof. It was like this for about 8 years before I couldn't take it anymore. I went to his house and told him to decide on a price because it was leaving with me. I try to work on it in the winter and drive it daily in the Summer. It has never, ever, seen a winter. There are several modification and upgrades planned, but I take it on winter by winter as money and time allow. I've done the complete interior, swapped the junk 3 speed metric trans with a modified 700R4, ditched the cross fire 305 for a carbeurated mildly upgraded 350, did the body work, painted and re-striped it, and other small stuff. This will be the third year I've owned it.

      Thanks...

I hoping to get some good Michigan advise around here and maybe give some if I can. Before she comes out for summer I need to find someone who can do an appraisal that the insurance company will accept. I've got too much invested to roll it out of the garage w/o comp & collision that will cover more than $500. If you know of anyone, or know anyone who might know anyone, let me know. Thanks for the welcome and nice meeting you.
