"OMFG! You put a Duramax in a Tahoe years before anyone else? HOLY POOPIES!"

Gary. A few years ago I was at an auction because of a Camaro I seen online that was to be auctioned. After checking the Camaro out I decided it wasn't for me but I'd still look around and maybe find another one. In the back of the lot was a 2000 Tahoe that had an engine fire and a 2003 Silverado that had been rolled over. Something right then in my head just clicked and was like "The Tahoe and Silverado 2500 aren't THAT different!" I purchased the Tahoe for $6400 and the 2500 for about $5600. Bought some replacement parts, fabbed up some stuff, called Summit up for some aftermarket goodies, and about 250 hours later me and Tom created the Durahoe. Now I have 2 12's in a fiberglass box, 3 TV's, 22's, and some billet accessories, and still have less than $16,000 into the Tahoe. Back in 2005 it was hard to buy a completely stock, fully loaded, Tahoe for $16,000 and I have one with a Duramax. To give him credit, Tom/ITSSLOW, did A LOT of the fab work.

I haven't even had it out of the garage since I moved to Chicago in early 2007. My truck I had was keyed twice and there is way to much crime in the area. I didn't even want to bring it to Chicago but it tows to much better than my old F150 so I used it to help me move.
