  • My 1972 Firebird Esprit

Hey guys been a member to the forums forever, but haven't been on here in probably a decade (oops) anyways figured I would log on here and say whats up. I've been around my Bird my entire life (was literally brought home from the hospital in it when I was born, and my pops stashed it away for me. (included a couple pics of me with my Mom and Dad celebrating that Bad Boy Championship in 89 and me on my 2nd Bday) As you can see it was originally Anaconda Gold but some jackass from Chem-lawn decided he was going to cover the car in weed killer and it wrecked the paint, so I drove it all thru High School looking like a rust bucket, until I was able to save enough to have it painted about 12 years ago and I went with Hugger Orange. Shes been sitting in storage for the last decade but pretty soon here I'm gonna yank the motor and it rebuild it so I can get back to crusin with you fellas next spring/summer. See ya out there

I know how that goes - my '81 sat around for probably 20 years or so before I had it shipped up here, and you can definitely tell as different things start acting up, especially with the Quadrajet, due to actual use.

Welcome back Griff! That's a good looking Firebird, and I love the family history.
