hey my name is chris. i live in south lyon michigan and have owned a camaro for 4 years now. my first was a red 96 rs but it was stolen and crash. my next is my current baby, a red t-top 2000 camaro with the sport apperance package. i have work 2 years on her and am just starting to get her the way i like her. the whole thing is done so hopefully there are no others like her. fairenhiet dvd head unit, pioneer 6 x 6 3-way speakers, pioneer amp, and jl w3 10 inch subs with a custom made sub-box i made myself. 20% tint windows, rksport front spoiler to replace the stock one, freedom high rise spoiler, ss hood, and 2006 z06 chrome wheels. higgh flow cat, magna flow exhaust, pacesetter headers, took out the air damperner, and lower thermostat. for the last year i have had an 04 corvette ls1 sitting in my garage waiting for the swap. well 2 weeks ago my baby threw a rod and the whole engine must be replaced, so it pushed my engine swap up a few months and sence at this time i am working full time and going to school full timei have no timeto do the sway myself, so i have to turn to the shop. anyone here know of any or own any that want to take on this job. livernios no longer is taking this type of job on, wheel to wheel wont answer my messages, and vector the only one that seems intrested in making money is taking a long time to get my price qoute. so any help would be huge. thanks guys and i look forward to being a part of this forum.

Howdy Chris! Welcome to Mifbody! I'll try to keep this thread up for a while. I have seen a couple of these guys finish an LS1 swap in a weekend. I am sure if you offer up pizza, some beer, and a place to crash you could get someone to come out and help you out. Good luck on the swap.

By the way, I am assuming you have the trans, kmember, driveshaft, and rear end ready for a V8 swap? Otherwise you may need to pick those up too.

                  Oh yeah... PICS OR BAN!

They counted on GM (bad idea) to bring them there R&D work and since GM isn't doing that any more they have lost a TON of buissness.
