Hey my name is Jeremy. I'm one of the few members with a 2nd generation 'bird. I own a 1978 Firebird Formula with the stock 350 SBC. I haven't owned the car for very long, a few months. It has had some mods by previous owners, such as a sun roof added, true dual exhaust, and it was painted black cherry with all of the formula/firebird decals and emblems removed. The car has been sitting for like the last 10 years (previous owner only drove it for a week in that time). I have some ideas for the engine but they require some money so they are going to wait. Just take the damn heads off and ill port them for you. Get some more ponies outta that beast. Other then that... invest in some degreaser and when spring comes around soak that engine bay down and ill bring the powerwasher over and clean all that shit out. -

Welcome to the board. Goodluck with your car, get it going and have fun with it. I've also got a 2nd gen to go with my 4th gen. Its been torn apart for 7 years now. Someday I'll put it back together but probably be a few years. Not sure if anybody else knew I had one. Its a 1980 Z28 hard top with a 4 spd. Anyway, welcome.Comment
