Ah, so that was you! I saw your car from across the street, I was parked out front. I remember seeing your car across the street and trying to figure out who it was

        David,
If I decide to go to stanton,I'm not racing my car.If i go,could I follow you down?Let me know what time you're leaving.I could meet you at the shell station on M6.I'm getting the engine detailed on Friday.Maybe now I won't be shy about opening the hood. What would you think if I put some white face gauges in?I found a set for $25.00.I'm also thinking about taillight covers.Let me know what you think.Later

Thank you for the invite to the site.Hopefully I'll be able to meet more of you during the fall.I'll try to get out as much as i can.My health isn't the greatest but I'll do what I can.By the way,NICE CAMARO.Wish I still had my 74 Z-28.Oh well,at least I have a 16 year old firebird with just above 23,000 miles.Gotta love these Fbody cars.

I'll keep you updated on when I am planning to head out as the day gets nearer. We may be able to get a convoy going up there if we have enough interest in the event.

The tail light covers may look cool as long as you can easily convert back to stock if you wanted to. Personally I have never been a fan of white face guages. But if you like the look and it would not be permanent then i would say go fot it.

                  David,
Thanks for the info.I do agree with you regarding the gauges.I really don't want to tear apart the dash to change them.Too much work.I do think I'll get the taillight covers.A place in Lansing has a pair for $43.00.I'm going to buy them on Friday. Are you guys going out this weekend? If so,let me know.I'll be at the hotdog joint this weekend.Later.

Welcome Kirt! Sorry it took so long for me to pop my head in the door. I hope you are enjoying your stay at the Mifbody and the 28th Street Cruise. I am sorry I did not get the chance to say goodbye to you when I left for home from Dawg dogs. Thanks for the suggestion, lots of sweet rides and good food. I hope to see you at Stanton in a week or so. Take care of yourself and I hope to hang out with you again soon!
