The winter project!

I just compiled my list of winter mods and the list hit a whopping 23 items = :shocked:

Some of them small, some bigger than others. The budget is in the $3500 range.

A partial list includes the new clutch, driveshaft, axle, dual stage dry nitrous system, permanently mounted remote in-car video camera feed, brake proportioning valve, and a whole bunch of electronic gadgets for things like reverse lockout solenoid control, dial selectable fuel and ignition maps, clutch releasable line lock, etcetera.

Well, to tell the truth, I haven't done a whole lot except pull stuff apart. The new torque arm is attached to the new Moser 12-bolt, and that's now installed in the car. I have steel sitting there for fabricating the body mounts for the rest of the torque arm assembly. My Hooker long tube headers are hung on the engine block. My T56 is on the ground, and the clutch has been removed. I've installed the new insert on the Fidanza flywheel, and the Spec stage 3 clutch will get installed *maybe* tonight. I'm waiting on the new engine mounts that should be in this week at the parts store. I'll probably get the transmission reinstalled by next Sunday.

And alas, I still dont have the welder I need, nor the custom transmission crossmember, nor the oval exhaust tubing with which to fabricate the new Y-pipe. So right now there are a lot of parts laying on the floor under the car. Not a pretty sight!

Oh, and Shawn, that thing on the bottom left is the NEW torque arm. The upper one was the Spohn torque arm that I removed from service. It's since been mailed to its new home over on the west coast of Michigan awaiting transplant into someone else's car! The www.unbalancedengineering.com torque arm is designed for a fourth-gen, but I'm making it fit the third-gen. I've got the eleventh one off the assembly jigs, and in all likelihood will have the first third-gen in the nation with this new design.

WOW im impressed with that torque arm. i read all the stuff on that site and seems like a real nice one you got there.

yes if i recall shawn seems to salavate over suspension parts from what i remember when i posted all my new BMR stuff! LOL..... it's so pretty though who can resist?
