  • What numbers this car might make?

    I'm suppose to buy this car in the next day or so. Any guess on numbers before and after tuning? I'll be taking it to CARS ASAP.

    1991 z28 for sale, this is a l98 j65 g92 car. it is white with tan interior, it has a fresh 350 in it (about 3000 miles), the motor is a 350 roller bored 40 over, vortec heads with stainless valves, 2.02 / 1.60 's, .510 lift springs, 1.5 roller rockers, slp cam made by comp (218/224 duration and 498/502 lift). the intake is vortec tpi lower (made by edelbrock) accell large tube runners, ported plenum (egr passage ground down and gasket matched) stock throttle body,k&n filters, accell adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 24lb fms injectors, 180 t-stat. car also has a 255gph pump. for exhaust it has shorty hedman headers, with a hooker exhuast. the ac compressor and condensor and air pump have been removed. also has lakewood control arms and panhard bar,

                  That should run pretty good. kind of a mild cam. 270 with a lot of torque.

                  1995 TA Sold. i sure do miss it though.

                          Just got back from CARS. The car put down 278RWHP & 317RWTQ.
                          I also broke a tranny mount on the way home from CARS.

                              I think I saw that car yesterday. I had Sean change my gear ratio. Anyway, 278 on his dyno is pretty good. If you ask Sean he thinks it would 15% higher on a dynojet... not sure about that. Mine put down 376hp on his and I am pretty confident it would be over 400hp on a dynojet.

                              Track times will tell... I'm going to Lapeer tomorrow!
