Stealh ram is a nice piece. It makes good midrange power without being to soft upstairs. It does have its plus's and minus one is hood clearnace. If you want sleathram power without the hod clearance issue convert a standard dual plane or single plane low rise edelbrok with a 4bbl Throttle body and injectors bungs and rails.

Would this intake do the job Sean suggested? Seems like you could make more power than the stealth ram and be alot cheaper.

I have an accel SuperRam intake and it's a good compromise between low end torque and upper RPM hp.

A TPIS mini-ram is going to be a lot like an LT1 intake and make more high RPM HP.

But all depends and what short block you have and what you're going to use it for!

That can work, You will also need part # HLY-534-183 runs about $ $1549.95 Its the Holley cammander 950 kit, comes with the stand alon unit, the T/B, all sencers needed, harness, and rails, no injectors or fuel pump this is a universal kit and the injectors and fuel pump will have to be set up to your engine and HP range..

Damn! I thought you could install the intake, fuel rails and use your stock harness and ecu.

What all would need to be moved? I have all winter to get it done.

Absolutely, no need for the expensive aftermarket ECU unless you are doing something crazy. Stock ECU runs it just fine.....I put a rough tune on Zack's Stealth ram runnng a stock ECU and harness......ran quite well.

basically just pulling sensors outta yur old plenum and stuffing em in the bungs on the stealth ram.. basically relocate the sensors and find a place to mount the MAP sensor. Fuel lines need to be addressed as well. Assuming its the 91 like yur profile says... you dont need to convert to a small cap distributor.. uhm.. other than that.. its an intake swap... easy stuff

I was referring to the link I posted of the single plane intake that has injector bungs.
