Single fan correct? To test the motor, just jumper the relay...fan should kick right on. Your fan relay should be mounted up right next to the radiator support by the battery. If you can't figure out how to jumper the relay just disconnect the fan...two pin plug...runs some leads into it and to a good 12 volt source. You can buy just the replacement motor fairly cheaply if it's bad.Originally posted by 86Camaro View Postso my fan completely stopped working and i will overheat if i leave the car running. its the same original fan from the 86 305 motor, now just cooling my 350. its an eletric motor driven fan so i need to know what year motors will fit if it turns out to be the motor thats gone bad...im hoping its just the little power relay switch thingy.sigpicTurbo Charged LS1/T56
