The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I have the Alston tubular SFC's on mine...welded. They work great, but I wish I had the Spohn's. Unfortunately these were not available when I bought mine 8 years ago I may end up putting Spohn's in too along with my Alston's...they both should fit up without too much modifing.
I have the S&W ones as well, Sean@CARS welded them in for me, they tuck up so high unless you get on your hands and knees and look UP you can't see them at all. they are really nice because they weld in on the floor pans as well as the front and rear, they are extremely tight!

The nice thing about the S&W 3rd and 4th gen suspension stuff is its package approach and system engineering. Its designed to work as a system and can be bought in peices or whole. They designed the TQ arm mount ETC into the subframe connectors creating a complete suspension package that for the $$$ is hard to beat. Its not super adjstable but if give you enough to get the job done. If you want to check it out for a 3rd gen drop buy i have a modified version of it on the shop camaro !
Ok, a guy on tgo wants to sell me his used set of Hotchkiss tubular sfc's for $100.00 plus shipping.
They are weld on ones...which scares me a little.
What do you think.

Seems like a good price. And I would only consider WELD ons.
It just scares me that they are used. Which means he will have to cut them out, in order to get them to me. They are installed on the car hes parting out.

agreed. and, if it makes a difference, i have heard nothing but good things about hotchkis. thats actually what im gonna end up ordering when i get my sfcs

Whats wrong with bolt ons?, I was gonna get weld ons til I realised you have to pull the carpet out so it doesent catch on fire. so I was thinking bolt ons with a few ...tack...welds. I take it thats not good enough?
The Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.
