Ok tony, this is what I cam up with. It gave the most hp and torque. It is a drag application with rough idle. On the right it gives the description for the cam.
The second one is what they call a great fit. I get about 10 cams that are either great or good fit but these two seem to be the best. Check the converter size as that will play a role in your cam selection.
I guess if your looking for something different you can call them and they will tailor it to your needs.Last edited by 1bad83ta; January 10th, 2007, 02:20 PM.sigpicAnd another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end.

Go big or go home!!! lol. Get a Cam so big when it lopes at idle it rocks the car so hard it almost throws you out your window every time it lopes!!!!
lol, nah, j/k. Be careful you don't get so much cam you can't use it, you'll hate it cause the damn thing will fall flat on its face till you get the rpm's up. Better think about a stall and gears if you don't have them.

YES....vacuum is a big deal too. Some ppl dont think about that. But whats a very important thing on your car that relays on vacuum???.............Your Brakes!Originally posted by Orange TerrorGo big or go home!!! lol. Just be a little conservative on your cam selection...remember TPI motors are DEAD after 4800rpm.....you want to select a cam that will deliver it's power early. I would stay with a lobe seperation in the 112 range. 110 is doable but you will need to tune it via custom chip. When the vacuum drops the ECM thinks you have your foot in the gas and responds by increasing the pulse width on the injectors....this is bad when the motor is idleing. Just as an example...I tuned a 110 cam in a 383...the motor would not even start up and run on a factory fuel table...I had to decrease fuel by almost 50% just to get it to run....this was due to the lack of a strong vacuum signal to the ECM.sigpicTurbo Charged LS1/T56

that software is sweet and I was going to check into a stall also. But know Im undesided cause a friend of mine is going to check on some superchargers for me and if the cam, stall, and computer flashing is close to the same price im probly going to go with a supercharger. So as of right know Im torn what im going to do.
