just wondering how rare my trans am is i have pics of it on the first or second page of the pit and its a hardtop also i was wondering if anyone does carfaxes on here?

haha true! Are Formula hardtops are preety rare! Mines a black 6 speed that hasn't been crashed so i think i got ya beat by a bit

Yep, there was only 1,302 Formulas Made in 2000. And the Hardtop was the more of the rare ones, excluding the WS6 version to be the rarest with only 233 made.

along with 1999 only 1,427 Formulas made and only 175 WS6's versions made.

thats the suspension if i remember right.

i think i got a pretty rare firebird

also my truck is one of 433 with 2 of those 433 being totalled. and 1 being stolen and missing for the past year lol.
and its the first produced.

Actaully it was a series of things....

The package required these options (Z28/Formula)

• A/C delete (until 1996 when A/C became standard)
• 6-speed transmission or performance rear axle with the automatic (GU5/G92)
• Z-rated tires w/ 150 speedo (QLC/QLC)
• Base stereo

and it consisted of:

• Higher rate front springs (360 lbs/in for mid-1994 and after)
• Variable rate rear springs (130-180 lbs/in for mid-1994 and after)
• Stiffer front and rear shocks (Koni double adjustable for 1996 and after)
• Harder bushings (front upper/lower and rear control arms)
• Larger diameter anti-sway bars (32mm front, 21mm/19mm rear)
• Increased cooling (for 1995 and after)
• Engine oil cooler (1993 - 1995)
• Stronger Transmission mount for 6 speed Transmission's
• Stiffer Panhard-bar bushings
