accel corrected cap

i was going to try one of these accel(8141) corrected HEI cap on my z28 but the reviews online are either totally hate it or best thing ever made. no in between i like the way they look but that is not worth the $ 40 if it makes the motor run like crap.so i would think a few members have tried it.. all opinions are welcome

Interesting. What were the quality complaints? GM Used "corrected caps" if you will for year on the Vortec engine "high voltage switch" (distributor). I ran my '98 a full 100k miles without an issue. So people are thinking this is an Accell quality issue?

complaints were timing was messed up backfire lack of power all seemed to start about 2 months after install.but then you have some reviews saying that everything ran great no issues
