I will soon need a chip made for my '91, but most places don't deal with this "old stuff". Want to find someone who will datalog and make a chip for it after I do the cam swap.

I'm putting in a LT1 cam and some other small upgrades. (G92 exhaust, 55lb injectors). Not trying to get huge power, if I hit 200hp at the crank I'll be thrilled.1991 Firebird 305 TBI w/LT1 cam. Swapped in a 5-speed and 3.27 BW disc. Some assembly was required!

Ahh, for some reason I thought you had TPI. TBI use the 8746 ECM which and the stock chips for these require a UV eraser which I do NOT currently have. I might pick one up just to have around.
I can convert a TBI style ECM to accept flash chips for $50 though. These chips can be erased and have a new tune flashed in under 10 seconds. And I do have a spare sitting on the 8746 on the shelf....
I could do an initial tune for you that would get it going down the road, but it's hard to dial it in for WOT without being in the car with a wideband hooked up.

I have a chip that should get your car running with LT1 cam and injectors.
Are you using 350 orange/black (GM 5235206) injector? Because those are 61# and that's what I set the BPC for. Added 3% fuel across the board. Other than that, I cannot do much else besides deletes and temp tweaks.

if he datalogs it and sends you stuff or what not you could probably throw something more together but speaking from experience mike made me a baseline tune for my tbi 383 in my old truck and it ran great for just being a start up file.91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

I'm going to adjust a few more things and burn the chip again. To get the tune spot on I would need a log a long term BLM table and see what the AFR is at WOT.

Ok, this sounds like a great start. I have a spare ECM to use/trade/whatever. I'll PM you my phone number so we can discuss further. I have the orange injectors from a 350 truck. Thought these were 55lb? Car has a 5-speed and will need A.I.R. and top speed deleted.1991 Firebird 305 TBI w/LT1 cam. Swapped in a 5-speed and 3.27 BW disc. Some assembly was required!

No need to swap ECM since I just purchased the UV eraser. I'll make those changes listed in your post. What octane fuel do you run?
There's some bad info floating around when it comes to flow rates. 305 injectors were close to 54lb and support about 185hp at stock pressure. 61lb 350 injectors will handle around 210 at stock pressure.
I don't have time to call today, will be leaving for work in a few minutes and returning home late. Tomorrow is my only partially free day before heading to Munising for the weekend. Post here if you can think of anything else you want changed - VATS, EGR, etc.

I've got some time, so not in a HUGE hurry. Should have the car together in a week or so. I'd happily bring it up to you for fine tuning with the wide band / datalog. You'll need an extra bung in the y-pipe right? No cat converter. 3.23 gear, 92 octane should be safe. The spark control computer etc is stock and so is the fuel pump / pressure regulator. A/C still works, VATS not needed. EGR is still in place. Not sure what else can be changed. Radiator fan on at 210? Do you charge by hour or by the job?1991 Firebird 305 TBI w/LT1 cam. I pretty much charge the cost of materials and shipping as I'm not a professional tuner. I do it as a hobby and I try to help out members here.
So far I have $22 into being able to do TBI chips but thats for equipment. And yes, wideband requires an extra bung in the y-pipe...not sure when I'd be able to fit that into my schedule though.

It's a 1992 Y-Body cam, guess that would have helped right? I can PayPal you whenever it's done and just drop it in the mail. We'll meet up some day when you've got time for final dial-in.1991 Firebird 305 TBI w/LT1 cam. Swapped in a 5-speed and 3.27 BW disc. Some assembly was required!

You don't need to pay for the equipment, just the cost of the chip and mailing. They are about $20-30 from what I see on eBay, does $25 sound good? Mailing is only a couple bucks, I'll cover that.
