Anyone install these before? They're not sitting as flat as I'd expect them to.

This is the passenger side rear sitting flat:

Makes contact with the floor here and no room to move forward without hitting the transmission crossmember.

I installed them on my car and they fit pretty good, but that was like 10 years ago. I do remember fussing with one of them a bit to get it tight up against the frame. I actually started tacking one side on and as it got hot from the weld I used a hammer to finish fit them.

Have you tried persuading them into place with a hydraulic jack?

This was just initial test fitting but I thought they should fit better. The set I had on my last car I remember fitting much better, seems like the drivers side bar has a little rotation to it. Did you tack the front first or the back? I have not tried a jack at both end yet - I did this late last night after the kids went to bed.

I don't recall the sequence. I remember pushing both ends up as tight as they would go without distorting the chassis with jacks.

Wow how time flies....I just looked at my car file and my receipt for the sfc's is dated 1998! Jeez I must be getting old.

Who knows, being that old I can almost bet they differ from what you currently have.
