yeah i looked at that one last night, but its only one pic. My grandpa lives in Flordia so if I were to buy a car from there, he could drive it back this spring for me or i could fly down there and drive it back. That one looks really nice but it doesnt have t-tops :thumbsdo:

You could get GTA with 350/TTops.
The thing with 350s was, NO MANUALS. all 350s were autos. You could weasle your way into getting TTops with 350s though.
Hell, the majority of turbo trans ams are TTops.

I would disagree with your statement.Originally posted by MyBadZ28A cowl is made to disperse heat. But it looks good i just dont like the hood not linning up
The area where the hood meets the window is a low pressure area. When a cowl hood is present the air is forced into the cowl thus the engine compartment. This idea was used on some 1st gen Camaros and many C3 corvettes.

yeah which explains why I said it is not functional unless he rigged up a CAI to sit in the cowl. I'm pretty sure cowls were made to get air into the air filter and not to let out heat even though thats what most of them are used for on late model cars.Originally posted by bri2203I would disagree with your statement.

most cowls are made to fit right around the air filter force in cold air and still keep the rain out... i need to fiberglass mine up this summer gonna keep the outside clear to let the heat come out and make the center "air filter" a seperate compartment... its not ram air but same concept.. keeping the incoming air outta the hott engine bay.. just not getting as much air force to it from the cowl end as it would in the front.. few years of trial and error.. although forced air into a carb probably wouldnt work to great kill the filters fast.. probably why they started out with the cowl design..
that is a bad ass looking 3rd gen though you dont find many that clean... not sure if its worth 6 but even with the high millage if the undercarrage and interior is as clean as the outside i would probably do it... the engine and trans is about the easiest and cheepest parts to replace on it...Last edited by wezeles; October 22nd, 2006, 05:50 PM.Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. hmm well the guy said he would take some off the price if he took the subs and amp and wiring out of the sale, thats alright because audiobahn sucks anyways. He doesn't have the stock hood anymore so I can't get him with that, he said he could throw on some cheap rims, but the TT2s really make that car stand out. I'm gonna try to knock him down to what I sold my car for (doubt that will happen), or around there like 4000, but with that high mileage i'm suprised he posted it up for 6000. Anymore news and I'll let you guys know. Oh and Justin if you do want to go down there alllllllll the way to Tennessee to look at the car then you can, that is if I ever do go there to look at it.

The mileage is preety high ,to me .As far as buying off the internet...be CAREFULL !! I bought two,my Extreme S10 from a dealer in Georgia and my new Pro-Street truck from Tn.All had high res.pics, and I asked a million questions & a lot of phone calls.Talking person to person gives you a good feel of the person. The freight alone from Georgia was aeound $750.I was super happy with both deals.Do your home work!!! Don't just jump into it blind.
