  • how to install t-tops

    hey guys still wanted some help with installing the t-tops i got i have an 82 t/a and i have everything to install the t-tops the glass centerbar oillar trim seals but has anyone every done this before what kind of work am i looking at.. local sun roof shop would charge me on up of 500 bucks just to cut it out and put it in... has anyone ever installed t-tops on a car that didnt come with them?

    I didn't do it, but my '75 had aftermarket ones all they do is use a sawzall use the template and check measurements 3 times, have the headliner out and check for wireing

      also tape the edge of your outline to keep your paint from chipping or getting damaged from the cutting.

        size?

        alright guys need some more help now that im at the point of putting them in... anyone with a 3rd gen with t-tops could i get a measurement from the corners of the windshield and the center of the windshield top trim back to the start of the t-top how far back from the windshield is it? and also how big is the lip under the glass going across to hold it in place... anyone that can help thanks... rather measure twice than make myself a jimmy rigged convertable...
