im trying to take out the dash in my 85 to swap it to the 92. i got the dash free and the bulkhead removed and most of the other wiring but i noticed its stuck on the speedo cable. does anyone know how to get the speedo cable free? id hate to cut it but if i have to then i will

there should be a clip that you need to push up to release the cable from the speedo
From TGO:
There is a black retaining clip holding the speedo cable to the cluster. It is diamond shaped. Just push that clip towards the cluster and hold it. The speedo cable should pull right out the back.

cant figure it out
i cut the cable, the thing is stuck on there. something else is holding the dash up.
